The Kev Kellaway Drive Show
Monday to Friday, 4:00pm to 8:00pm
Kev has been a radio host since the days they were called Dee Jays in 1975, working around Queensland and has been on air in Newcastle and the Hunter since 1981.
He's also a very bad guitar player, not a bad pool player, OK at spelling and a very safe motor cycle rider. Kev is a former Australian cricketer, taught Eric Clapton to play the tricky F chord on guitar, retired Cleo magazine model and frequent pathological liar.
Basically a radio veteran of old time rock n roll, loves watching live bands play in pubs (what did ya say?) and has more music trivia rubbish locked away in his head than Casey Kasem.
A lover of fine Hunter wine, cheese, grapes and classic western movies and a huge fan of the Queensland State of Origin side.
Join Kev for the drive home with up-to-date traffic every 30 minutes and have a great laugh with the crew from How Green Was My Cactus at 5:15pm.
